Listen:

You guys already know how much I love Disney foods.

In fact, this is actually a recipe I had been planning for a while!

Seeing as I don’t live near Disneyland (and don’t have an annual pass), I can’t get my Dole Whip as often as I’d like…

Which, let’s be real: I could eat Dole Whip every day.

What Makes This Copycat Dole Whip Smoothie Bowl Recipe so Awesome?

I set out to create a copycat Dole Whip smoothie bowl that:

  • Contains no added sugar
  • Is healthier
  • Tastes delicious, like the original or better
  • Brings me back to those Adventureland-vibes

Well, I’d say we knocked it out of the park (no pun intended!)

This copycat Dole Whip smoothie bowl is sweetened naturally with fruit… No need for any extra sugar here!

Now, if you’re wondering if the banana altered the flavor: I got you!

I experimented and found the perfect balance of banana to pineapple… Resulting in a smooth nice-cream texture with 100% pineapple flavor.

That’s right: this smoothie bowl has that same pineapple tang and dreamy-creaminess of the original.

Already; we’re off to a great start.

The last thing I wanted was to be brought back to Adventureland with every bite… That’s right, I’m talking Adventureland-Vibe Realness

What else did I do to feel my Adventureland fantasy?

Other than the plants and marimba music, I also:

  • Cracked out my handmade coconut bowl (for her first use!)
  • Topped it with more banana, blueberries, and hemp seeds for fun
  • Oh yeah, and I studied my Indiana Jones translation card for my next trip to Adventureland 😉

A Word on Finding Frozen Pineapple

Originally, I had bought cans of pineapple that I planned on taking out and freezing…

However!

Trader Joe’s, being the godsend they are, have frozen pineapple readily available. (For surprisingly cheap, too!)
