Vegan Protein Bar Recipe with Cashews

- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup sunwarrior vegan protein natural flavor
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 1/2 cup rolled oats ground into flour
- 1/2 cup raw cashews chopped coarsely
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup brown rice syrup
- 2 Tbsp almond milk
- 1 Tbsp spirulina powder
- 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 Tbsp agave syrup for extra sweetness optional
Toss all ingredients into stand mixer
On medium-low setting, incorporate ingredients together
If the dough seems too dry, add a splash more of milk
If it seems too wet, add more flaxseed or oat flour
Once it starts to hold it's shape easily, transfer to medium (ungreased) casserole dish
Press (or roll) down until uniform shape
Freeze for at least 1 hour and cut into 9 semi-even pieces
Keep in freezer as they start to lose their shape if left out too long
